Sustainable Building Strategies:

Recycled steel framing and masonry, east-west orientation for passive solar benefits and natural daylighting, natural ventilation/operable windows, roof top photovoltaic panels to generate electricity, thermal mass in concrete floors, rainwater collection for irrigation, and nontoxic components in flooring and paints.
