These links connect you to information on achieving the goals of the Integrated Waste Management Act, from analyzing your waste stream and planning your approach, to implementing the programs that will help you reach the goal, to tracking and reporting your disposal amounts. 

The Local Assistance Contacts help local governments meet their planning and diversion mandates of the Integrated Waste Management Act of 1989, and serves as a liaison between local governments and CalRecycle and its program areas. Staff provide input for the development of CalRecycle policies concerning local planning and implementation issues.
