Revising the Five-Year Tire Plan for FYs 2025–26 to 2029–30 Workshop

Senate Bill 876 (Escutia, Statutes of 2000, Chapter 838) requires the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) to adopt and submit to the Legislature a Five-Year Tire Plan that includes proposed budget allocations. In addition, it requires that the Plan be updated every two years.

CalRecycle will hold an in-person and virtual workshop on December 4th from 1:30-3:30 pm to discuss the biennial update of the Waste Tire Recycling Management Program’s Five-Year Tire Plan. During the workshop, proposed activities and budgets will be discussed covering fiscal years 2025–26 through 2029–30. Spanish and English simultaneous interpretation will be available to participants. The agenda and presentation materials will be available at least 5 days before the meeting.

2023 California Waste Tire Market Report Workshop

CalRecycle will host a workshop on November 18, 2024, to present an overview of the 2023 California Waste Tire Market Report. This hybrid workshop will take place from 9:30-11:30 AM PST, both in-person and online via webinar and webcast formats. At the workshop, 2023 tire market trends will be presented and interested parties will have an opportunity to provide insights on market trends prior to the finalization of the Report in February 2025. The workshop will also be available in Spanish.
