Occasionally CalRecycle recognizes the need to contract out for services that cannot be provided by staff. Once these needs have been identified and approved, staff will prepare and solicit a request for a contractor(s) to provide these services. This is often done through the competitive process under one of three types of advertisements: the invitation for bid (IFB), request for proposal (RFP), or request for qualifications (RFQ). Visit our General Contract Advertisement Information page.
When a disaster occurs, CalRecycle may use emergency procedures to select a contractor. Visit our Disaster Debris Contract Information page.
If you download CalRecycle contract documents and want to be informed of updates, you must get on the e-mail list for that particular contract. To do so, complete the online form located on that contract’s details page.
