Overview
The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) is proposing file and print regulations per Public Resources Code (PRC) section 42477 and 42478 in response to the covered electronic waste (CEW) recovery and recycling payment rates for video display devices.
Affected Regulatory Code Sections
CalRecycle is proposing regulations to amend Title 14, California Code of Regulations (CCR), Division 7, Chapter 8.2, Sections 18660.24, 18660.25, 18660.33, and 18660.34.
Current Status
CalRecycle held an informal public workshop on April 8, 2025, to solicit feedback from the public, the regulated community, and other interested persons on draft regulatory language to update CEW recovery and recycling payment rates for video display devices.

Formal rulemaking documents will be published on this webpage once CalRecycle files the proposed regulations with the Office of Administrative Law.

On April 8, 2025, CalRecycle conducted a workshop to solicit feedback from interested parties on the proposed regulations.
CalRecycle encourages interested parties to provide feedback and comments pertaining to the proposed regulations by April 10, 2025. Interested parties can provide feedback and comments via email to regulations@CalRecycle.ca.gov.
