CalRecycle Provides Funds to Clean up Illegal Dumpsites; Agricultural Lands Overrun with More than 68 Tons of Trash
SACRAMENTO – The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) has awarded $100,000 to clean up illegal dumpsites in Contra Costa and Fresno counties. Once restored, the two sites will be suitable for use as farm and ranch land again. One site will also host a new agricultural learning center for high school students.
