Authority for Collection of Personal Information
Your information is collected in accordance with California Public Resources Code sections 40502 and 42004, which authorizes CalRecycle to establish and maintain advisory committees to support its mission and operations.
Principal Purpose for Which the Information Collected is to Be Used
CalRecycle collects only the personal information necessary to evaluate and process nominations for advisory committee appointments. The information collected from resumes and nomination materials will be used solely to assess qualifications, professional experience, subject matter expertise, and eligibility for service on CalRecycle advisory committees.
Known or Foreseeable Disclosures of the Information
We do not disclose your personal information to anyone outside of CalRecycle unless authorized or required by law. This may include sharing with government agencies when necessary to perform legal duties, or as required for investigative or law enforcement purposes.
Consequences of Not Providing Any or All Parts of the Requested Information
Providing personal information is voluntary. You do not have to provide the personal information requested. However, if you choose not to provide required information such as your name, contact information, professional qualifications, or relevant experience, CalRecycle may be unable to fully evaluate your nomination or consider you for appointment to an advisory committee.
