You’re invited to the October 21, 2026, SB 1383 Chat with CalRecycle!
CalRecycle is hosting the webinar series: “SB 1383 Chat with CalRecycle” to provide an opportunity to discuss new guidance and tools available, deliver funding updates, and share how jurisdictions and other entities are implementing programs.
This webinar will focus on CalRecycle’s Jurisdiction Enforcement carried out through jurisdictional compliance evaluations. There will also be a discussion regarding best management practices (BMPs) for keeping, maintaining and providing access to an implementation record. Note that while the implementation record will be discussed during this Chat, this Chat will cover new recommendations and will not be an overview of the SB 1383 requirements for the implementation record. For implementation record requirements please see the June 2024 SB1383 Chat on our SB1383 Chat YouTube channel. This webinar will feature:
- CalRecycle’s Jurisdiction and Agency Compliance and Enforcement (JACE) Branch will present the phases of the jurisdictional compliance evaluation process.
- CalRecycle’s Local Assistance and Market Development (LAMD) Branch will discuss assistance tools and resources available to aid jurisdictions in successfully migrating through the compliance evaluation process as well as best management practices that could help streamline the process.
- Multiple jurisdictions will present how they have organized their implementation records, how they have or plan to provide JACE access to their implementation record during the compliance evaluation and any best management practices they have for maintaining their implementation record.
