Notice and Order Timeline

After a notice and order is issued to a solid waste facility operator or owner by the enforcement agency (EA), a copy of the notice is sent to CalRecycle (formerly the Board) within 5 days. Fifteen days after CalRecycle receives the order, and after any request for hearing or appeal, the order becomes final and action is taken to enforce the order. Within 5 days of any action of this type a notice is sent to CalRecycle of the action. The EA must notify CalRecycle within 30 days of the final compliance deadline or expiration of the order.
