CalRecycle maintains archived information on its website as a record of its activities for use by the public and CalRecycle staff.

On June 7, 2023, the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) approved regulations governing the covered electronic waste (CEW) recovery and recycling payment rates that were approved by CalRecycle Director Rachel Machi Wagoner on May 18, 2023. The regulations go into effect July 1, 2023.

Every year, CalRecycle is authorized and required by statute to consider the adequacy of the CEW recovery and recycling payment rates. • Standard Statewide Recovery Payment Rate for all CEW from $0.33 per pound to $0.35 per pound
  • Standard Statewide Combined Recovery and Recycling Payment Rate for cathode ray tube (CRT) CEW from $0.85 per pound to $0.98 per pound
  • Non-CRT CEW from $1.03 per pound to $1.10 per pound
