Carpet Stewardship Program Advisory Committee

CalRecycle is required to appoint an advisory committee to provide recommendations to a carpet manufacturer or stewardship organization and to the department on:

  • Carpet stewardship plans
  • Plan amendments
  • Annual reports

In addition, the Speaker of the Assembly and the Senate Committee on Rules each appoint one member. 

CalRecycle is soliciting applications for interested parties that wish to be considered to serve on the Carpet Stewardship Program Advisory Committee. See the solicitation letter for instructions on how to apply. Applications are due to carpet@calrecycle.ca.gov by October 3, 2023.
