- Economic Cost Benefit Analysis and Distributional Impacts Model. This model is an Excel-based model that was created to estimate the economic impacts of changes to the used oil management system in California on participants that are not necessarily involved in the used oil management system, including virgin petroleum companies as well as providing estimates for environmental valuation of environmental emissions. - Economic Regional Impacts Model (Note: This rwb file is zipped and requires an active license of the REMI software to be accessed). The Regional Impacts Model was created to estimate economic impacts of changes to the used oil management system in California to larger economies including neighboring states and the rest of the United States.
- LCA Model, GaBi Envision Version (Note: This gbmx file is zipped and requires GaBi software to be accessed). The Life Cycle Assessment model was created in the GaBi Professional software to estimate the environmental impacts associated with the used oil management system in California. This model also includes the material flow analysis and an improper disposal model as well as an implemented version of the PE International Refinery Model (“Crude Oil Refining in US and Canada”, below). GaBi Envision is a reader module within the GaBi suite and will allow you to view the LCA model only but will not allow changes. The GaBi Professional version of the LCA model will allow full functionality but requires verification with the GaBi manufacturer prior to distribution.
- Crude Oil Refining in US and California (PE International Refinery Model). This model was created by PE International for CalRecycle to more accurately model refinery operations in California and the Western United States. This model is also implemented in GaBi and can be accessed via the GaBi files above.
