This webinar will feature: \n– How SB 1383 Intersects with SB 54\n– Circular Action Alliance’s Reimbursement Program\n– Jurisdiction Enforcement\n– Jurisdictions Assessing the SB 54 Covered Material Categories in their Collection Programs\n– Jurisdiction and Recycling Service Provider Exemption Process for SB 54 \nDate & Time: Jun 17\, 2026\, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Pacific Time (US and Canada) \nRegister in advance of this zoom meeting. \nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. \nCalRecycle is hosting the webinar as part of the series: “SB 1383 Chat with CalRecycle” to provide an opportunity to discuss how the Plastic Pollution Prevention and Packaging Producer Responsibility Act (Senate Bill 54\, Allen\, Chapter 75\, Statutes of 2022) relates to SB 1383 for local jurisdictions. CalRecycle will present in coordination with Emily Coven\, Executive Director of Circular Action Alliance\, and Leslie Lukacs\, Executive Director of Zero Waste Sonoma. All presenters will be available to answer related questions. \nPackaging EPR Contact:\nWe would also like to remind jurisdictions to please submit a Packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Contact Form. This contact will help identify the authorized local jurisdiction representative who may submit an application under the Act or receive updates regarding the status of the application\, if the application is submitted by the recycling service provider.
