CalRecycle’s RPPC Manufacturer Registration

Why did my company get a notice to register?

Your company was identified as a product manufacturer that sells or offers for sale product(s) in California which are held within rigid plastic packaging containers (RPPC). This includes direct sales, retail sales, and remote sales through distributors, wholesalers and the Internet.

How do I register?

Register online using the Product Manufacturer Registration form.

What if I don’t register?

Failure to register your company within 90 days of receiving a notice or submitting false or misleading information are considered violations to the law and may be subject to fines.

What happens after registration?

Your company may be selected in the future to submit a compliance certification. Product manufacturers selected are notified by letter. Only those product manufacturers selected are required to submit a compliance certification for the specific measurement period.
