Per Capita Disposal Formula: [(disposal tons x 2,000 lbs/ton) / 365 days] / population

Example: 40 million tons disposed in 1 year by a population of 38 million

40,000,000 tons x 2,000 pounds = 80,000,000,000 pounds
80,000,000,000 pounds / 365 days = 219,178,082 pounds/day
219,178,082 pounds/day / 38,000,000 population = 5.8 pounds/person/day
