Local mandates adopted prior to January 1, 2011, may not reflect California Green Building Standards Code (CALGreen) requirements. Local jurisdictions have to implement CALGreen or their local C&D ordinance, policy or directive, whichever is more stringent. The sample ordinances previously included on this page were older than 2011, so they have been removed to avoid confusion.
