Fifth Annual Green Materials Showcase
This event showcases the latest resource-efficient materials to the design and construction community of Northern California. Products include building materials from nonvirgin or renewable resources that feature high recycled content, low embodied energy, long life span, and no or low VOCs. Presentations by experts in the green building industry will take place every 30 minutes, highlighting the latest developments and technologies.

Advanced Recyclers Workshop: Managing the Markets
Location: Long Beach
This workshop took place during WASTECON 2002, an event sponsored by the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA). Topics included how buying recycled fits into the recycling equation, how to create a demand for recycled products, how to require contractors and grantees to use recycled products, the importance of record keeping, and the contracting process.
